Shirley graduated from Bachelor of Oral Health from University of Newcastle in 2015, she then continued her education into Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy (adult scope) in 2017 to become dual trained hygienist and oral health therapist.
Since graduation she has spent time working in private practices across Sydney and inner west suburbs treating patients of all ages. Being a dual qualified hygienist and oral health therapist means that Shirley is able to provide restorations to not only children but to adults as well. She has special interests in children’s dentistry and periodontics.
Shirley believes that good health starts inside the mouth and it’s all about maintenance. She applies this approach to her daily clinical practice by promoting good home care with a balanced lifestyle. Maintaining good oral health is not just about brushing and flossing, it also should incorporate all aspects of life such as diet and physical exercise.
Apart from the daily grind Shirley enjoys the sun, fitness and squash.
She is fluent in Cantonese and Thai.
