On behalf of Anokhi Dental, we hope you, your family and loved ones are safe, well and supported during this unprecedented situation with COVID-19. These are certainly unchartered waters for all of us. Please be assured that your health and wellbeing continues to be of utmost importance to us.
As part of our daily clinical practice at Anokhi Dental we have always followed the highest level of infection control- this is what we do every day. We are proud to be a QIP accredited practice. This means that we have demonstrated and implemented evidence-based, consistent standards of quality care – as per the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards. This is an ongoing process which we regularly update and implement.
In addition to this we have implemented additional “transmission based precautions” as advised and updated by experts in our profession on a daily basis. We continue to monitor and act in guidance issued by the Australian Government Department of Health, the World Health Organisation and the Australian Dental Association.
Extra measures we have implemented are:
Screening all patients before they attend the practice.
Ensuring all of our team members are well and requesting them to stay home if they are not.
In addition to our already high standards of infection control we have put additional protocols in place.
Placing hand sanitiser in our wait-room and removing magazines, sound healing instruments and anything else that can be touched.
Providing our signature Anokhi Dental Tea and Immune Boosting Tea in biodegradable single use cups.
Implementing additional cleaning measures in common areas including the wait room and reception desk.
